Abstract
Additive manufacturing processes, both bi-dimensional as well as three-dimensional ones, provide unparalleled degrees of freedom with respect to formative and subtractive approaches. This feature, together with a high level of customization, can be exploited for the design of innovative radio frequency solutions, including devices for identification and sensing. An interesting application is represented by the use of additive manufacturing for realizing an additional level of security implemented at physical layer.
