USNC-URSI 2023 NRSM Registration Support

Deadline for Applications: 18 November 2022

USNC-URSI is pleased to announce that there will be a limited number of awards to qualifying students to help defray the costs of attending the 2023 National Radio Science Meeting. Awards will consist of free student registration and possibly partial support for travel costs for those who attend this hybrid meeting in person. The awards will be dispersed contingent on availability of funding in the awards program. To be eligible for the free registration, students are required to apply via the conference website. Students must be full-time (graduate or undergraduate) at a US university and be the first author and presenter of a paper accepted for presentation at the 2023 National Radio Science Meeting to be held in Boulder, Colorado.

Application Process

Student applicants are required to complete an online application and upload the following material on the conference website by the deadline of 30 November 2022:

  • A completed student support application form.
  • A letter from their primary advisor, stating that they are a full-time student.

Please note that because of limitations in funding, students previously funded to attend a National Radio Science Meeting in Boulder might be given lower priority.

Questions regarding student registration support should be addressed to Dr. Jamesina Simpson (USNC-URSI Secretary/Chair-Elect) at Jamesina.simpson@utah.edu.
