Call for Workshops
| Friday, 16 January 2026 | Workshop Proposals Deadline |
| TBA | Workshop Acceptance Notification |
Guidelines
We are inviting proposals for half-day workshops at EMBC26. Pre-conference workshops are educational sessions that focus on current and future trends in biomedical engineering, as well as technology development in medicine and health care. The workshop should focus on a topic of interest to EMBC attendees at different levels (students, postdocs, independent researchers). Workshops will take place on Sunday July 26, 2026, between 8AM-12PM and 1PM-5PM.
A workshop may be delivered by a group of leading researchers and pioneers in their respective areas. Workshops are expected to provide a classroom-like experience with hands-on learning and networking opportunities.
Important notes regarding workshops
- Workshop organizers and workshop speakers are expected to be present and facilitate the workshop by their own means and provide any materials required for the workshop.
- Workshop organizers are encouraged to promote their scheduled workshop and to actively engage with the society in promotional efforts for the workshop.
- Workshop speakers/teachers and registrants are required to pay all relevant travel costs
