USNC-URSI 2024 NRSM Registration Support

Deadline for Applications: 15 November 2023

USNC-URSI is pleased to announce that there will be a limited number of travel awards provided to qualifying students in order to help defray the costs of attending the 2024 National Radio Science Meeting. Awards will consist of free student registration and possibly partial support for travel costs for those who attend. The awards will be dispersed contingent on the availability of funds during the awards program at the NRSM. To be eligible for the free registration, students are required to apply via the conference website. Students must be full-time (graduate or undergraduate) at a US university and also be the first author and presenter of a paper accepted for presentation at the 2024 National Radio Science Meeting to be held in Boulder, Colorado.

Application Process

Student applicants are required to complete an online application and upload the following material on the conference website by the deadline of 10 November 2023:

  • A completed student support application form.
  • A letter from their primary advisor, stating that they are a full-time student.

Please note that because of limitations in funding, students previously funded to attend a National Radio Science Meeting in Boulder might be given lower priority.

Questions regarding student registration support should be addressed to Dr. Jamesina Simpson (USNC-URSI Secretary/Chair-Elect) at Jamesina.simpson@utah.edu.
